What if a resident’s card doesn’t work?
The card may have been damaged, for example if a hole was created to attach the card to a key ring. Another cause may be that the link between the address and the container is incorrect. This can be checked and corrected immediately in the AWRS container management system. Finally, there could be an error in the software or in the card reader. We can check this for you.
What can I do when the card reader has an error or doesn’t work?
The most common causes are a low battery or poor signal range. This can be checked in the AWRS container management system. - What if the container shows an ‘Unknown card’ message? The card may not have been linked properly. - The ‘Close drum’ or ‘Open drum’ message means that the lock was not installed properly or that the lock sensor is defective. This can be easily fixed by the service technician. - If the error is not listed here, please contact us for further assistance.

Does BWaste send waste disposal cards directly to residents?
In principle, BWaste is always contracted by another party. This is usually a municipality or waste collector. They will send you your waste disposal card(s).
How can I report a malfunction or submit a request?
The best and most efficient way is by using our ticket system, which you will find at awrs.bwaste.nl or www.bwaste.nlsupport. This ticket system is very efficient, with a lot of information already entered, and the option to describe the malfunction. The system automatically updates you on the progress. Our container is full, can you come and empty it?
Since we do not empty containers, we will refer you to your municipality or waste collector.
